A travelling kiosk & workshop

2015

The Napa Flipbook Kiosk was born from the need to cherish hand-drawn animation and flipbook culture. The Kiosk presents a portable collection of flip books from publishers around the world.

Based on the idea of the artist Jenni Rope, the kiosk was designed by the architect Tuomas Siitonen and manufactured by the carpenter / architect Yoshimasa Yamada.

The kiosk started its tour in Helsinki in the spring 2015, and found a permanent home from Kirjaverstas at Teurastamo, Helsinki, in the Spring 2018.
