Jenni Rope (b. 1977) is a Finnish visual artist working with painting, sculpture, artists’ books and public art projects.
Drawing from nature's patterns, Rope uses organic shapes, vibrant colors, and rhythmic brushwork to create immersive, multisensory art works that blur the line between painting and sculpture.
Rope holds an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts Helsinki and a BA from the University of Art and Design Helsinki (now Aalto University). Since 2004, her works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions internationally. Her work is found in several private collections, and in the collections of the Oulu Art Museum, the Saastamoinen Foundation, the HAM Helsinki Art Museum, and the Finnish state collection. She lives and works in Helsinki, Finland.
